Joey gets Baptized!

Joey's baptism day! It is finally here as Joey would say! He was the last one in his class to be baptize but he was sooooo ready to be bapized! He was so proud that his dad got to baptize him! Joey was just beaming all day long!







The World's BEST FRIENDS anyone can ever have! Not only because they like us but because they are willing to put up with my Family! AKA My mom and her camera! :0)

Joey had an interview with our Bishop to make sure he was ready to be baptized. This is our dear friend and Bishop! Joey just loves him and he is totally OK with Joey and his HONESTY! The Bishop told Joey that he was able to sit anywhere he wanted to during the interview so he took the Bishop's chair...Bishop was ok with that!

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day! We played at the Skate Park, Regular Park, and at the house! We are so Thankful for FAMILY and FRIENDS!!! We went around and asked each child what they were grateful for.. Brennen: Heavenly Father and Book of Mormon. Emily: THe world, my family, and Jesus. Tony: Jesus and the scriptures. Letty: Jesus. Joey: Video games and my WII..Children says the darnest things! Well at least Joey doesn't have an issues with honesty!

When you leave your Child with your parents....

Joey got to play with my parents while I was at work...Dad bought him a movie...GI JOE...not exactly what I had in mind for a 8 year old...but Joey was super excited! Of course when I questioned both of them they blamed each other...somethings will never change!

Just another day at the PARK! I don't know who had more fun Joey or Grandpa!

Joey not so happy with the process, he was so ready to be DONE!!! He wanted to play with friends and not sit still!!!

The Great Pumpkin!!

Joey is ready for the Great Pumpkin.



So this is a new tradition we started this year thanks to a dear friend (Melissa)...



So what we did was we let Joey have his candy for like a couple of days, then we have him gather all the rest of his candy and put it in his Halloween bucket and leave it outside of his door and the "Great Pumpkin" comes. The "Great Pumpkin" will leave a gift in the place of the candy!




So we told Joey that the "Great Pumpkin" would come this year...well I was really sick this year and was planning on having the "Great Pumpkin" to come the next night but Joey wanted him to come, well Joey hadn't eaten very much candy and I tried to tell him to have one more day and eat a little more, but He was WAY TOOOOOO EXCITED to wait any longer. So he left his candy out and he got his Toy!! He got up the next day and he was SOOOOO EXCITED he woke me and Joe up early the next day with, "MOM the Great Pumpkin CAME"!!!!! This is what being a parent is all about!!
