Christmas DAY!!!!!!!!

The morning of Christmas there was no one stirring, espically Joey! This is what Christmas morning before all the beautiful things would be distroyed by everyone opening the gifts. Santa and his elf worked soooo hard to make sure everything was perfect! TOO bad that this beautiful scene did not last all but three hours worth. We all got up at 4:00 a.m. (because of Joe having to work) to enjoy in the wonderful experience of Christmas morning! We all were not awake enough to really enjoy everything, needless to say we all went to sleep just as fast as the gifts were ripped open! Mom and dad I have no idea how you guys did it every year!

Joey gets a special visit from Mrs. Claus on Christmas eve. He was so excited to get a little surprise from Mrs. Claus. He kept jumping up and down holding the gift. This was all before he even opened the gift.

Joey gets his first tooth pulled!

Joey lost his first tooth in July and the permanent one is growing in much larger then his baby tooth, and he is running out of room in his mouth. We noticed last weekend his permanent tooth right next to the one that he lost starting growing in behind his baby front teeth. We had to get his baby tooth out asap. So we had been working on it over that last week and Joey was trying to pull it out, but he wasn't able to. Well we work hard on Thursday night to get it out so the permanent one could come in properly, well it was almost out but I couldn't get it out. Joe got a pair of pliers and pulled it out. Joey was crying more with me trying to pull it out then when Joey got the pliers. But with three good pulls the tooth came out and he was so happy. Grandma Rutia told him that if it came out that night she would give him a dollar. He then put his tooth under his pillow for the fairy to leave so goodies behind. He got $2.00 from the tooth fairy, the tooth fairy felt bad because he had to have it pulled! He woke up and told me that he was so RICH!!!!!! He then said to me "sweet mom, now I can go buy a toy with all my money". AHHH to think that $3.00 will buy a toy these days! I don't think soooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

This is the poster that Joey made for his star of the week! He paced spiderman, scooter, dinosaurs and skateboard items, his friends are Trenton and Trevor, and his favorite place is the beach. His only wish was to have a sister driving a race car!!

Star of the WEEK!!

Joey was star of the week and he got to bring Mickey Moose home for the weekend! He got to take him to the store, push the cart with Mickey Moose, and got to sleep with him! He got to have him over the 3 day weekend last week! He then got to make a poster with all his favorite things, interest and his family pictures on it! He was so happy!

Optimums Prime! Joey got to enjoy trick or treating this year with his aunt Roo and her main squeeze Vince. All had a great time! Oh course Joe and I benefited from the night!

Soccer Comes to a Close for Joey!

We got to go to Joey's Soccer party tonight! We were able to enjoy pizza and drinks with all of his team mates, all of the kids were crazy excited! Joey was able to get a trophy along with part of the banner. Each child received his name from the banner framed and then one got to keep the remainder of the banner home. Joey was too excited! It was a blast!

Joe and I got to go to a halloween party this year for Joe's work and here is our costumes. Joe was a military man, with his World War II helmet, and I was a nurse with halloween scrubs. We had a great time! Happy Halloween to ALL!

Pumpkin Patch Half Moon Bay

This is our first experience with the pumpkin patch here in California. We went the same weekend as everyone else and their dog. We really enjoyed every minute! We will be back next year but just on a different weekend, we are considering going on a week day!

It has been three months tomorrow that I have been living in California, and WOW how the time has passed! We have done so many things and already made some many memories. We are loving the weather here, it has already started to get a little cooler here. Those that have lived in California say that Fall is officially here and it will get colder from here on out, the only thing that I have to say is to Bring it on!!!!!! I just love the coolness here, we are handling the weather here better. I do miss Arizona and all my friends and Family but I don't miss the heat! What a blessing it has been thus far to be here and what a great time we have had.

PLAYER OF THE GAME!!!!!!

Joey was chosen as player of the game on Oct. 6Th game. He was not too aggressive and he played the best that he had ever done. He was so excited he kept singing the song that he made up of " GO ME, I AM AWESOME" I don't think that he has any self esteem problems at all! He loves playing and gets so excited! During this game Joey got to play with a boy from his class. he really enjoyed that!

The Soccer Player

Joey is enjoying soccer this year! He is having the best time, he is one of the tallest on his team. He is starting to get aggressive and he has to be told more than once each game to calm down and stop pushing. He has only been in a couple of fights, the coaches break it up before it gets too bad! I am not sure where in the world he gets the attitude!

Oakland Temple

Joey really enjoyed the beautiful flowers and what a view at the top of the Oakland Temple. He really can't get enough of the temple! It is one of his Favorite places to go!

At the Top of the World!

Me and Joey loved to walk around the top of the Oakland temple. Joey loved looking at the view of San. Francisco! He loves looking at the big city, he knows what the names of most of the bridges and he has gone on almost all of them! We got to take a few hours to go to the temple and watch videos at the visitor center. Joey always wants to go to the temple and he gets upset when we don't get to go. The temple is about 35 minutes from our house with no traffic, but it is worth the drive!

Just wanted to give you an update from our neck of the woods, it is beginning to look like FALL!!!!!!!!! The weather is beautiful and the leaves are starting to change colors, this is a whole new experience for me! I am enjoying every minute of it!!!!!!!!!!!

Joey Survived his first day!

He survived his first day! He hadn't met his teacher until he had to be at school! He likes her now but he was not sure when he first got there! He was a little nervous but he was able to continue on with his day! He loves going to school now and he hates the weekend! Boy that will change very soon!!!!!!!!!

Joey's First Day of School

Joey is outside his new School in California, Jack London Elementary. He really likes his class and his new friends. He is with a combine kindergarden and first graders. There is ten of each in his class, and he likes his teacher. We are very impressed with the school here, he is already written at least half of his letters! He loves school!!

Another Day in Paradise

Joey is enjoying a beautiful day at the beach inside the bay! He really enjoyed this beach because they were no waves and he could walk in the water for a long time before he was completely covered! He learned how to get on his board the right way, one minor detail was he never made it to the shore! Better Luck next time!

This is Joey 1st experience with Sea life. He enjoyed looking at all the star fishes, crabs, and all the other sea life. He loved to look but not touch, I think that he held the crabs for about two seconds and then he was DONE! We got to walk about on the rocks and enjoyed discovering all the sea life! This is an experience for ALL!

School Clothes Shopping

I have a whole new outlook and appreciation for my mother and what transpiried each August. I have experienced the back to school clothes shopping with a five year old. Let me just say that it was not the best experience in the world, if anyone ever says it was fun they are fools! I spent five hours looking for clothes and letting Joey decied what was cool enough to be chosen! He was very picky about his shoes too! He is only five, I didn't know that he could be so into his looks! Oh well what can you do!

Joey's 1st Goal

Joey plays soccer each Saturday and this is the 1st time playing soccer. On 8-18-07 he scored his 1st goal. He was so excited he hug everyone, including everyone on the other team. AHHH to be a kid again.

Joey's Lost a Tooth

On Tuesday July 24 Joey lost his first Tooth. He had decided that he was going to help it out a couple of weeks before by using his clip on tie. He used the clip to put it on his tooth and yank. Then on the 24Th of July he "accidentally" put a tag from a ball around this tooth and yank on that as well. Then his tooth came out. He put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy to come that evening. He had a hard time going to sleep because he was worried that the tooth would get lost under the pillow. He got a whole dollar from the tooth fairy (grandma told him that he would get a dollar) so the tooth fairy had to give him a dollar. He has been trying hard to get the other teeth out so that he has more money to spend.

The Nuttall's

Hello Everybody from the Golden State.

Our family is now getting use to the way of life in Beautiful Northern California. Joe and Joey have been here for over two months and I have been here just over a month and loving every minute of it. I am not quite use to such nice weather and such green surrounds.



Joe is currently enjoying his new employment and loving the weather change. He went from a Warehouse that was always hot, hot, and hotter in the summer to cold, cold, and colder in the winter. He is now enjoying beautiful sunny days of maybe uppers 90 Degrees with the cool ocean breeze and cooling off at night. He really loves his job and his work.




Joey is currently playing soccer to help fill the summer days. This is the first time he has ever played soccer and he loves to play. He is also loving the weather. He did not do so well in Arizona with the heat and it wasn't a lot of fun for him. He will be going to Kindergarden this year and his first day of School is Sept. 4th. This is another new thing for us to get use to school starts so late. He is more than ready to go to school.



I am currently enjoying taking time off to be a full time MOM. I am able to enjoy being with Joey all the time. He is not quite use to it yet but we are having a good time.
